Not sure what to say?

I have a very positive memory of Mrs. Consolvo although I never met her and only talked with her once. I was a USNA classmate and VMFA-212 squadron mate of Jack Consolvo, her son, who was KIA in 1972 during our deployment back to RVN for the Easter Offensive. I was inviting her to an upcoming squadron reunion. It would be her opportunity to meet with Jack's RIO and the RIO in Dash-2. She was most gracious but declined. Jack's son and daughter were also invited and did attend. Fast...

Wow Martha, two years, and it's been so crazy, know you are all looking down and shaking your heads, wondering what the hell this world is coming to? I dont blame you, I wonder that myself every day! I still miss you lady, we could use that sense of humor down here, and a few times I've had to say to myself, "chin up, you're a Marine Mom"! I know all our boys are taking good care of you, if you think about it, give my Josh a great big hug from his Mama! Love you lady, you are definitely...

Martha and I met in the 1980s when she was keynote speaker at the first POW/MIA tribute hosted by the Commander in Chief, U.S. Atlantic Command and Atlantic Fleet. Our friendship was instant and we shared many visits. When I transferred to DC, we wrote often. Sadly, I lost touch a number of years ago. She has a cherished place in my heart and my life. I am thinking of each of you and praying you find great comfort in all your special memories of a life well lived. She will always be...

So sorry to learn of Martha's passing, particularly since I live so near in Hillsboro. I knew Jack at the Naval Academy, and like him served as a Marine aviator. I look up his name on the wall whenever I visit other friends memorialized there. I regret I am unable to pay my respects on July 6th, as I am visiting family on the East Coast.

My heartfelt sympathy on a tremendous loss! I've always loved Martha Ann as she was a huge support, great friend, fellow Gold Star Mom and loving role model for me! Her courage and strength inspired me, and I missed her terribly when she moved to Oregon, the thing that made it okay, was that I knew she was happy, loved and well cared for! I loved listening to her talk and her story, she will be missed so very much!

I was blessed to have had a chance to meet her when I was a child and then spend some time with her when I was an adult. My love to all her family, past and living, and know many amazing people she loved and inspired will continue her mission to serve others.
