Not sure what to say?

Dear Marty. My thoughts and prayers are with you today, on your birthday. You were my honorary big sister, my mentor and my friend. We always talked about going back to the Carolinas together so that I could meet all your sisters and it is with profound sadness that we never had the opportunity. I treasure our work trips to Las Vegas and Washington, D.C. and had so much fun together there. I thank God that our son Mason had the opportunity to meet you, such a remarkable and strong lady. I met Martha at the local grief group in Oxnard last year and began driving together since we lived so close. We enjoyed each other's company while together talking about the loss of our partners and the dreaded word of cancer. I am happy that we had a good long chat in early April and I will miss talking with her on the phone. My condolences to her family.

I was so sorry to hear about Martha, the few times that I met her, she was always so nice and always such a pretty girl. My condolences to Marie and the rest of the Bost family.

This is very sad to see Marty Drum Obituary. She was lovely lady smart, polite, her skills when above and beyond. We all learned well from her training at SBBT. God Bless you Marty in heaven.

Marty was one of the first people I met when I first started working at SBBT and I thought that surely she was my guardian angel sent to help me. She became my bff at work and helped me all through the years there. She will be missed. My condolences to the family. How blessed we all were to know her

It is with true sadness that our banking industry lost such a precious one. I never met a more sincere person than Marty, when she asked how are you, she really wanted to no. To her family my condolences, and "with that said" she will be missed by many, Y'all....RIP Marty

I am still in shock after reading about this in the paper. I worked with Marty at Santa Paula Savings and Loan and then lived with her from 1984-1992 up until the day I got married. She was one of a kind and the best roommate ever. We had sooo many fun times together and lots of laughs. Although I hadn't seen her in a few years we reconnected when Bob passed away last year. We were going to meet for dinner or drinks and just to catch up and sadly we never did. Marty, I love you and you will...

It was by chance we met, but by choice we became friends. Goodbye my friend you will always be in my heart.
