Martha Eppler

Dear family, Martha and I were very good friends, both artists. We were both in SVAA,Salinas Valley Art Association, on one occasion, accepting paintings for a show at the library, a clerk came in and said she had a message for either Mrs. Barker (me) or Mrs. Peffler! We laughed about that for years, John would even call her when I called and tell her Mrs. Barker was on the phone! I have truly missed her since she moved away and am so sorry to hear of her passing.

Dearest Eppler Family,
It was with great sadness that I read of you Mom's passing. One if the highlights of my early years was getting to take art
lessons every Thursday from Martha.
My family was very fond of you all, and you carry a special place in our hearts. Sadly, Don passed 5 years ago and Linda 3 years ago. My heart goes out to you.....your mom lead an extrordinary life.
