Martha Hodson Erwin

A lovely woman she will be greatly missed.

Martha Erwin was a wonderful woman of beauty, faithfulness and a prayer warrior. The one word I would use to describe her was faithful servant of the Lord! Martha and I became better acquainted when I chaired the Officer Nominating Committee for FPC in 2012. She showed me so much grace and that the key to service was seeking the Lord and being attune to His leading. She was humble, a true servant, encourager and wonderful leader. So sorry to hear of Martha´s passing. She was such a lovely gal, a class act!! She was a true Kappa lady and contributed so much to the beginning efforts of The national Kappa Foundation through her leadership! She will be missed!!

I am overcome with sadness at the loss of such a wonderful lady, mother, Kappa sister and friend to so many. I'd already picked out a BDay card for her in Aug. I know she is being welcomed in Heaven with hugs & kisses from friends, and that a new porch sitting group is gathering to sing songs and share memories.
