Not sure what to say?

Would like to say Martha and I were colleagues of a sort. When I got my CTC from ICTA in 1977, she was one of the first to congratulate me for being the first non-travel agent to qualify; my certificate was #991, and they only numbered the first thousand. Last time I saw her was when I had dinner with her and Amy at Crown Center in Kansas City, just before I left TWA's Breech Academy, ten years later. My own "Bride of 60 years" passed away just last week, at age 83, and I miss them both very...

Amy,

I am so sorry to find your mom's obituary, when I was trying to find an address to re-connect with an old colleague with whom I shared so many fun moments at Breech Academy.

My bride of 51 years and I re-located to the Ozarks of Southern Missouri - about 30 miles west of Branson - a few years ago and, as recently as 2008, lost another dear friend and colleague. I don't know if you remenber Armin D. Lehmann - also another ASTA speaker like Martha. Pat & I took the...

I've known Martha for many years. She was a wonderful, warm person with a great personality. I'm very sorry for your los.

To the Fink family, sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his LOVE, PEACE, and STRENGTH in this time of sorrow. It's hard losing your mom i know to well. Give yourself time to heal, and you do that by taking one day at a time. There is going to be times when it hurts just to hear her name, see her favorite foods, desserts, and then there is going to be a time when you can say her name without falling apart and that's when you know your heart <3 is starting to heal. The pain never goes away...

Dear Amy,

Janine & Larry Damato, San Bruno CA

Dear Amy: I was greatly saddened by the passing of your mother, she was a wonderful kind woman and a devoted mother. I remember her well during the years I worked at the travel agency. She was a great help during those difficult years of my widowhood.

Your guidance helped me to continue on in travel for many years. since then I have accumulated seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. No more travel but my life is full at 91 years.

I know what a sadness it is...

Adam, thank you for sharing the horrendous news of your mother’s death with me. When I first read your message, I couldn’t stop crying or shaking in shock and I have been thinking of your loving mother who I have known for more than 30 years. Tears are streaming down my face as I am writing to you now and I will be sharing my thoughts and prayers with you by letter when I have had time to gather my thoughts. I forwarded your message to Adrienne Marks who had a very similar reaction that I...
