Martha Flowers

The great Martha Flowers was my first voice teacher at UNC-Chapel Hill 1973-1975. She was my great inspiration to sing and encouraged me by telling me, I had the ability to be another Leontyne Price if I would just work on your scales. She was a bright light in a world that can sometimes be quite dark. Ms. Flowers I will miss your bright light. Rest In Paradise.
