Martha Wright Hansen was born on June 22, 1937 and passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025 after an eight month battle with small-cell lung cancer. Marty met her husband, Dr. Leland Hansen, on a blind date in December 1979. They married the following August 1980 and had a 45 wonderful years...

Marty and I met in the late 1960's when she was Chief Stewardess of Modern Airlines, and she was my boss. Marty was the perfect roll model for that position. We have remained in touch all these years. I loved our friendship, and I will continue to miss her.
