Not sure what to say?

Martha was a friend of mine in the early 80's, we met while working together in a restaurant in Bellevue. While I have not seen her in many years.. I always remember what fun and how energetic she was and how she impressed me with her wit, charm and her amazing creativity.. I have many fond memories of her and have thought of her often. I am truly grateful to have known her and appreciate the impact she has had on myself and so many others. She remains in my memory and heart.. I am so...

I went to visit a friend I knew that worked for Martha many years ago at the old U-district location. Near the end of my visit I saw Martha and my friend chatting and looking my way. Martha then proceeded to walk over and ask what I was doing that next Saturday morning. I worked nights in the bar business and usually got home around 4am but thinking I was about to get invited to some kind of event I said I had no plans. She replied that's great because she needed a driver that Saturday...

I'll miss seeing your smiling face when I call on the store... I enjoyed the years that I've worked with you and so admire impeccable taste and design level...

Martha was one of the first gals I met in Seattle when we started our Sand Point bakery in 1985. I choose to remember Martha as an energetic, wonderfully talented woman who played goalie on our Baleboostah soccer team and did the flowers for my daughter's wedding. Martha was always a vibrant lift--and she always had a dog.

Martha and I worked for ten years together. I believe that i have been truly blessed to have been surrounded by her many talents. Martha made her Madison Park shop her home. When you walked in to the shop you could tell it was a special place.
Martha you were a wonderful mentor to so many us. You will always be in my heart. Aleisha

Martha inspired and encouraged me as a business woman. Her support was instrumental to my success and we shared many hearty laughs over the years. Thank you Martha, for everything.

I will always miss your style and grace. God Bless You.

When I think of you, Martha, I always think of your beautiful blue eyes, windows to the most exquisite soul I have ever known. I also think of those famous lines from Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water"..."Sail on Silver Girl...Sail on By...Your time has come, all your dreams are on their way...see how they shine" You are on your way now, Martha, and while we all have a huge hole in our hearts, we are also filled with wonderful memories of you, your courage, enthusiasm for...

Martha has been such a gift to my brother Bruce through the years; their artistry and creativity are so similar.
Thank you, Martha, for being such a great friend and boss to him. I enjoyed knowing you.
