I did not know that Mrs. Hickman passed so long ago and my heart goes out to each family member. Her devotional Healing After Loss has been a true Godsend to myself, and many others. I have given her book to many that like myself have lost a truly wonderful person in their life. She restored my hope and faith. She put me back on the road to the Good Lord. I have been eternally blessed by her words of grace. Thank you God for Martha Whitmore Hickman

I am a stranger who has been touched by the beauty of Healing After Loss. I lost 2 people back to back and found the little book at a chain bookstore and fell in love with it's quiet grace and the comfort it offered. Later I got curious about the author and she's from my hometown and alma mater. I just bought another copy for my recently widowed aunt. It will be 10 years tomorrow I lost my Dear Husband Dallas Taylor. It´s hard to believe it´s been that long but Martha´s `Healing after loss´ daily book saved my life and it saved so many lives as I´ve sent it or given it to so many friends, patients, and family members who have lost loved ones.
