Not sure what to say?

Can anyone tell me...is this the same Martha Hurley that was in with Dr. Meiklejohn's office in Blue Springs for a time? If so, she was my doctor through my pregnancy with our youngest son and I absolutely adored her. I just happened to think of her and wondered where she was now when I found this. Shocked and saddened. I know it's very late, but condolences to all who knew her.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Marthas death. She delivered my twins at Wilford Hall Hosp, Lackland AFB in 1982. I have thought of her many times over the years. Thank you Martha.

Marty, I just learned of your passing in the K-Stater. KSU is where we met & continued our friendship for decades as my personal physician & friend. I am shocked & deeply saddened, especially for your precious children whom you loved with all your heart & soul. Your zest for life, laughter & fun attitude will indeed be missed, dear friend. You made a difference! Say hello to my "little angel" & give him a big hug from his mommy. May you have eternal rest...

how do you say goodbye? how do you thank someone for bringing love and life into yours? the air seems tinged with a bitter cold, because all the warmth you brought into this world is gone. you gave until there was nothing left of you, and then you gave the inches within the spaces where your soul belonged. i loved you, in all the ways a person can love another, and i hope and pray you knew that. the spirit took my dear friend away, and now the thousands of babies you brough into the world...

this wonderful, caring doctor was mine for 25 years, she was also my friend, i had to wrap my head around all this before i could post anything and i had just talked to her 8 days before this happened. we would go into the room and talk and laugh forever at our own private jokes, we laughed so hard my daughter in another room said she could hear us laughin. she did 5 surgeries on me as i trusted no one else, if u were lucky enough to have her as your doctor u should have felt priveleged. i...

My deepest sympathy to Martha's Children, family and many friends. It is especially difficult to lose a loved one at the prime of their life. We were friends for many years and Martha was often the life of the party. We will miss her warm smile and zest for life.

Martha was a past classmate and neighbor. I was very saddened to hear of her passing. Our prayers and condolences to the family.

I worked with Dr. Hurley in the Leavenworth area providing women's health care. She was a good person to work with and kind person at heart. She will be missed. The family and friends will be in my prayers.
