Martha J. Keeler

Miss Martha became a dear friend and mentor to me during my time at John Henry. After I left the company, we stayed in touch for a long time. She was good about that.

She was also a wonderful writer and an absolute delight to be around. She would make me laugh until tears ran down my face with her wicked sense of humor. I always considered her a true steel magnolia as Martha was a trail blazing lady. She was a lamplighter who kept the lamp diligently lit upon the path for others to...

I worked with Martha at John Henry back in the late 1970s, and after I left JH we kept in touch, lunching often over the years. I will treasure so many memories of her wry sense of humor, her love of animals, and her friendship. She was a unique and special person, and will be missed.

Martha was the heart and soul of John Henry. We all miss her so much. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
