Martha Kierstead

Always a class act. Elegant, patient, kind. Martha was always her own person. A wonderful classmate to have growing up. Condolences to the family. Her passing is a loss.

Well said, Chris - Martha was one of the most composed and elegant women I have known. I've loved her since our college campouts in the 70's, always patient and kind (even if some of us got a little crazy:) And, since our sons were exactly the same age (to the day) we always had plenty to talk about. She will be missed by everyone who knew her, and her memory will certainly be a blessing. xo, Rebecca

I am so sorry to learn about the loss of Martha. Although we had both worked at PSU for years, it was Nancy Winbigler, a friend from Eugene & the U of O who introduced us. Nancy loved Martha's company and enjoyed her friendship so much! I found Martha to be to be a lovely person as well. She had a calm and refreshing demeanor, and was thoughtful and intelligent. I send my deep condolences to her family and friends.
