Martha Jean Hodkinson Klingenberg

Martha Jean,

I still remember you at South Oak Cliff high school. You wore a highly teased and hair-sprayed "do," and when we practiced for Debs on humid mornings, your beloved "helmet" would get damp. Your goal was to get inside and let your do dry out so it would return to its helmet-like state. Unfortunately, your pals would chase you to see if we could press an imprint into your damp do before you got inside. You would scream, "Don't touch it! Don't touch it!" and run like crazy...

Don, sorry for your loss. May the presence of the Lord comfort you and your family.

Don; I'm so sorry that I never knew Martha and even more sorry about your losing her. I know she must have been a special person because you shared your life with her. All the best to you and your family from the Gilligan's

Don, so sorry for your loss. Please know that you and she are in our prayers.

I would like to send my prayers to all of Martha's Family. Our family were friends beginning back in elementary school. We always called her Martha Jean. I will never forget her sweet smile and her kind, loving heart. I will always cherish the many memories we shared. May God bless her family and sweet mother Hazel. Sending my love to all of you.

I have wonderful memories of time together at Wesley Methodist Church. Please know our sincere sympathy is with all of you in the loss of this precious child of God.

Martha is one of the most beautiful persons I have ever known. She always made you feel special. She will ne missedon this earth, but heaven got a very terrific "Angel". Signed Brother John.

Don, I was so sorry and saddened to hear of Martha's passing. I have such fond memories of our time together in Corpus. Martha was instrumental in getting me started jogging which I continued to do for many years and continue to walk several miles 5 times a week. I often reflect on the fact that it was Martha that got me started.
George joins me in sending our sincere condolences. Rita Passmore

Don, Bill and I are so very, very sorry to hear about Martha. She was a wonderful person. She and I had some really great times and spent many hours laughing together in Corpus. Please take care of yourself. Bless both of your hearts.
