To our Lord JESUS Christ. We have lost a beautiful and lovely lady "Aunt Joy" to you. A blessed person that had no enemy, her laughter, smiles, her place that was a warm and caring place that no one was sent away. Reminessing of old times, family, and friends will always be missed Always coffee with home made cornbread, or biscuits and jams. She showed her love, her appreciation for what God gave her. This family was blessed, saw great things happen, and sad things pass. But, she will always...

I am her seventh child. All ways felt like and was treated like number one. She taught us to do for the family and not to be selfish. She found pleasure from things of nature(GOD) not the earthly things. We was very poor money wise when I was a child. We all ways had a roof over our head ,food on the table and loving parents. We were never poor! We ate better than anyone I knew because we always ate fresh food that we helped to put on the table. Just ask any of our neighbors or friends...

I never had the privilege of meeting Ms. Joy, but I have known her youngest daughter, Mary, for many years both on a personal and professional level. Obviously, Joy was a great mother and tremendous person which Mary represents everyday. Mary is person of strong character and moral integrity which I'm sure made her mother proud. I pray God's blessing on each member of Joy's great family.

I know Mrs. Joy had a large family, but the only child I had the privilege of knowing is Mary. In knowing Mary, I know Joy. She was an outgoing, loveable person who never met a stranger. Her heart large enough to give to others. She adored the outdoors and family. Mrs. Joy lived a long and prosperous life. How blessed the family is to have enjoyed her love and laughter for so many years.
