To the McLaughlin family.
It was a total shock to all of us at Glenwood-Allan Cott School (Girl Scout Troop 20) to hear of Martha's passing. She will be missed greatly. She was a wonderful lady and the girls and ladies all loved her dearly. We will miss Martha, but we know she is watching over us now as she did when she was here. You all are in our prayers and hearts. Love always.

I knew Martha for only a very short year and a half, but I will treasure having known her forever. She was truly my sister in Scouting.

Martha had such a huge impact on so many lives. She will be missed by many people. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Tom and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Lea: Virginia Adams forwarded an email to me
with the notice of your mother's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember her fondly (and you), and just wanted to pass along my condolences to you and your family.

Dear McLaughlin Family, I heard of Martha's passing on Friday from my Mom, Margaret Willis. It was a shock! On Saturday, Martha's Christmas card arrived with a picture of us from Camp Coleman's 80th Anniversary celebration. Another shock! I will always remember Martha fondly both as a leader and then as a friend. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She and Fearless are now watching over us from above. Love to you all!

SORRY TO LEARN OF MARTHA LEA PASSING, SHE WAS MY BIG SISTER IN THE SORORITY AT ALABAMA, AND WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED.

I am deeply saddened by Martha's death, but I know she is with our Father in heaven. The United Methodist Women will greatly miss her creative genius and infectious laughter.
