Rachel, I learned today of your mother's death. I was saddened to hear of your loss. I always remember your mother as a fine, dedicated and generous professor and a friend to my father, Mario Iglesias. I know that my parents always spoke so fondly and with admiration of 'Marta Frosch'. I appreciate and am grateful for her support of my father's opportunity at Ohio State University.
May your memories be a comfort to you now and always. They are for me with my father.

Dear Rachel, I'm so sorry to hear about your mother's death. I especially appreciated her dry sense of humor. I remember her remarking one day that the then-Vice Chancellor had sent a memo "by a donkey that stopped to graze on the way."
