Dr. Martha Mullins

Ms. Mullins was our PE teacher at Theodore High School and we all loved her. She was also our Spanish teacher for all four years and attended our 25 year class reunion in 1987. She was the epitome of what a woman can accomplish in a man´s world and she did it with style. God Speed to an amazing woman.

What can I say,except we Alaskan girls have loved Cuz since she was our PE teacher. I am so glad we all went to Kentucky to spend time with she and Julie. They showed us an unbelievable time!!! We gathered together on several occasions in Washington and love every minute of it. Cuz was a gift to us all. Charlene Corbin.... Anacortes, Washington

Julie, so sorry to learn that Cuz passed. I have great memories of her in Alaska and visiting the two of you in Kentucky. Also, some trips to the West Coast to see all of us. She was a great role model for us (the Ketchikan girls) at a young age. Such a fun lady. Thinking of you at this sad time.

I worked for Dr Mullins at EKU in the early 1970's, and just loved her. She had such an easy, friendly way about her, and she made the work day enjoyable.

Dr. Mullins and I met my freshman year at EKU. She helped inspire in me a deep appreciation for learning beyond what was required or expected. I had the unexpected pleasure to talk to Dr. Mullins in September at the EKU Athletic Hall of Fame banquet. What a precious gift and memory. Thank you Dr Mullins for your many contributions to education and to EKU.
