Hands down one of my favorite professors (`94 graduate). She actually made accounting class fun and was such a patient and helpful teacher.

I didn’t personally know Dr. Pointer, but I live in the same neighborhood as her and often saw her walking. She always said hi to me and my baby when we were outside playing. With the warmer days recently, I realized I hadn’t seen her and then I saw her obituary. My thoughts are with her family during this time. We will miss...

For 40 years, Martha graced my life with her presence. She was family in every sense of the word and helped me navigate life's challenges more than I can express. My heart goes out to those she loved as we cherish memories that will forever be etched upon our hearts.

Martha will live in her neighbors hearts and many memories that through the years were made. I used to speak to her whether in campus, also on the day of my graduation, and many times when she would go walking to over do her last steps on her fit-watch. Always had a smile on her face and always stopped to chat with me. Rest easy now free of pain.
