Not sure what to say?

It has been a little under 13 years, and I still have not found one dermatologist as good as Dr. Martha. She was so nice and understanding of silly questions and always treated people kindly. I know that her kids are all grown now, but I just wanted to say your mother was irreplaceable to a lot of people from the looks of all these tributes to her. I still think of her quite often and think that the world is missing a great person.

Martha was in my class at St. John's College. Everything reported here is true about her, she was the soul of kindness. I just learned of her tragic death today, so many years later. Senior year I was in language tutorial with her [French] when the translating of Flaubert rolled around to her. She did such an excellent piece of it, that Mr. Darkey remarked "Ms. Post, you sound like a Frenchwoman struggling with English". She was perfect. I miss her, and will fondly remember her...

Still not forgotten, still missed. I will be visiting her free and plaque in Santa Fe this homecoming: it will be out 40th.

I learned of Martha's death from a simple entry the the St. John's College alumni quarterly a few years back. That was before I learned about web resources. I'd not learned about the circumstances of her death until this evening, and it is devastating to me. I knew Martha at the College in Santa Fé. as one of the sweetest souls on campus. That shines through in her portrait here.
I knew of some of her post-college struggles and sorrows, and often thought of writing, but did not. That has...

To Bob and Family,
Just today while attending a medical meeting in FL I happened to meet an Internist from Lexington Ky and I asked him if he by chance knew my friends Bob and Martha, both of whom I trained with at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit from 1985-1987. It was only then that I learned of Martha's tragic demise and the resultant grief of her family. Words can't express the shock and sadness in my heart. It was only yesterday that a group of us residents drove down from Detroit to...

her friends at St John's dedicated a plaque to her this last year with the following quote from Phillipians 4:8
"whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

We all miss her and hope the family is doing well. All the patients miss her so much and she was a dear friend and kind person prayers

It is impossible to believe that Dr. Post has been gone from among us for four years. She was a wonderful person and an excellent physician, one of the most dedicated doctors I've ever met. I still miss her, and wonder often how her family has dealt with the hole she must have left in their lives. They remain steadily in my prayers.

Not forgotten...ever.
