Dear Lisa,
I came upon this obituary by chance and wonder if you are the Lisa Radcliffe I remember?
Did you spend some time in Scotland as a teenager, and did your brother Bill stay with my family when completing a school year?
Whether or not you are the Lisa I knew, please accept my condolences, as your mother was obviously a remarkable woman.

My thoughts have been with you Lisa, and your family. I lost my Mother on February 7th. I can say that I know how you feel. Time will soothe your worries about those things you meant to tell your mom and questions you need to ask her. You will be in my thoughts as you have been for decades. I am so sorry for your pain. My mother, Jeanne Haller, was honored to count Martha as a dear friend, bridge partner and trusted legal adviser. My brother Rick and I appreciated Martha's compassionate guidance through the settlement of my mother's estate.

What a joy it was to see Martha and Chuck at Jean's 90th birthday celebration in January, 2010. We're so very glad we shared time with Martha and Chuck after sharing many, many (56?) years of bridge, friendship,and support, along with UC Berkely as alma mater.
