Martha Cobb Roberts

I miss Martha so much. We had lunch often ... maybe once a week. Since we were freshmen Tri Delta pledges, we became fast friends. We were in each other´s weddings. She´s my oldest son´s godmother.

Missing you so much my friend! You were my very special 5th grade teacher, you loved me and saw something special in me I couldn't see in myself. I know you are at peace now but oh how I wish I could talk to you again on the phone!

Martha was my idol growing up, so pretty, so poised, so special, so elegant, and a little daunting...I was always trying to measure up but never did. Her beautiful smile melted me and any attention sent me to cloud 9! She was the big sister I wanted but never had, and I envied Lucy so! I love that her final years were with Tom, as she so deserved the wonderous love they shared...she was finally happy with her children and grandchildren so much a part of her life. She lived well and will...
