Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to the Shriver family. Dr. Shriver and I were freshmen together at Miami University in the fall of 1965. Our paths crossed throughout my undergraduate and graduate school years. Our friendship continued with my involvement in the Alumni Association (1980-86; President 1984-85). My good fortune was knowing such a wonderful couple for 45 years. Martha was an excellent "First Lady" for Miami University. We have lost a treasure!

Dr. Cheryl Gabe (MU '69, '72, '88)

Love to Darcy and Scott and the rest of the Shrivers! I treasure the time the Miami Volleyball team got to spend with Mrs. Shriver and Dr. Shriver! Great people and wonderful legacies - they will be missed.

Heartfelt sympathy and condolences to our Ohio cousins, it was a honor to have known Aunt Martha. Thoughts, prayers and love to the entire family.

A fabulous lady whose mark on earth will not soon be forgotten, and the world is better for her being.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Darcey and family as you get through this difficult time. 'mamma' was such a wonderful, classy lady. We will miss singing with her at the Lakeside Beauty salon :) Stacey & Carol

She was a wonderful person and will be missed.

my deepest sympathies and thoughts are with the Shriver family. Martha was a great lady and will be missed dearly by all. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to get to know her, and the Shriver family at Bob Evans. God bless your family. Kellee White

on behalf of my entire family, especially the Engels family (Susan's host family) from Rollingergrund in Luxembourg City, I would like to express our most sincere condolences. Your mother was a wonderful lady and will sorely be missed by everyone, most notably the Miami and Oxford communities and especially by the Miami University Men's Glee Club, whom she admired and supported vehemently along with her late husband.
I will forever remember her unexpected call during freshman year when she...
