Martha M. Skoner

I am a professor at the USM College of Nursing and Health Professions and was Martha's colleague for about 8 years. We had a common interest in anthropology and shared research ideas and methods. Martha was a favorite for her kind and gentle spirit and intellectual integrity and was very supportivve to me personally as a new faculty member. We loved her style too! She has been missed these last few years, and it is sad to learn of her death.

We remember the happy times shared. She was the nurse present at our daughter's birth. She helped family when needed. We will miss her caring for all.
