I learned so much about Ellie reading this wonderful obituary about an incredible woman. Her adventurous spirit and joyful heart reverberate in her children and everyone who was lucky enough to be touched by her. She had the warmest and most infectious smile and laugh. She was a second mother to me growing up and I feel so blessed to have received her generosity, gentleness and warmth. I love you Ellie and will love you forever.

I am so sorry that Ellie is gone - I knew and loved her through the Warrenton Antiquarian Society and the Warrenton Garden Club - She was a truly kind, gentle, hard-working, and talented person - She will be greatly missed by many people, including my husband and me.
