Dr. Martha Swain

Miss Swain was my high school social studies teacher in Pensacola, Florida, and I owe her so much. I admired her and was pleased to know that she continued her studies and had a such a successful career. What a gem she was! I think about her often. When asked to list those people in my life who have influenced me the most, Martha Swain was near the top of that list. Only my parents and brothers did more to shape me.
