Not sure what to say?

I wrote this mostly for Chris´ mom, whom I knew, but also for her husband & children. I was the matron of honor at Chris´ wedding ceremony to Cliff. She was like a little sister to me. We met initially at St Mark´s Episcopal Church in Evanston & grew our friendship from there. I only recently learned of her passing through a mutual friend of ours. I cannot imagine how all of you had your hearts shattered when she left this earth. She was a kind, sweet, funny human being & I am ashamed I lost...

My dearest Christi
Time has not dimmed your memory or the love I feel for you in my heart, nor will it ever. I think of you many times each day and look always toward the time when I will see you again.
With so much love,
Mom

I had the honor of meeting Christine in grad school. I became her research assistant, and she was part of the inspiration to go into forensic psych. She was such a sweet, kind, soothing, gentle, yet strong person. I loved her sense of humor. I just thought of her this evening, and looked her up online. We had sent holiday cards for many years but lost touch over the last couple of years. I was so saddened to learn of her passing. Christine- thank you for everything....you will be so missed!

I was lucky to sit in front of Christine in the 6th grade and remember her as being smart, kind, funny and having the most beautiful waist-length hair that was the envy of all us girls. She was also incredibly compassionate for a kid that age and wasn't afraid to have a different opinion from what was considered popular or safe. Later in high school, where prep fashion was the rage, I'd see Christine in the halls wearing her hippy flannel, acoustic guitar in tow and it made me happy to see...

I was lucky to sit in front of Christine in junior high. I'll alway remember her as being kind, funny and having the most beautiful, waist-length head of hair all of us girls envied. I also remember her as having a sense of compassion not usually seen at that age, and not being afraid to state an opinion that was different from those around her. Later in high school where preppy fashion was the rage, I'd see her in the halls wearing her hippy flannels, carrying her acoustic guitar and I...

I knew Christine both as a delightful person and a talented psychologist. She learned her skills from my dear late wife Judy deVoss, who was so proud of Christine and her achievments. Christine, I will miss you and think about you every time I think about Judy.

I am so so sorry to hear about the passing of Christine. I will always remember her sense of humor and her positive emails she had sent me back in June about school. I will miss you. :(
May you rest in peace.

My husband and I moved in next door to Christine, Cliff, Ceight and Ian in October of 2006. We are so grateful to have this wonderful family as our neighbors and more importantly, our friends. Christine’s warm smile always lit up a room; the sparkle in her eyes was friendly, welcoming, and at times, delightfully mischievous. I deeply admired her courage and strength in fighting her illness, all while still being a fantastic wife, mother, and working professional. A phenomenal friend,...

Christine touched the lives of many children with her kindness, compassion, wisdom and sense of humor. She was a gracious volunteer in my classroom for two years when Ian was a second and third grader at Chaparral. Both Ian and Christine hold a special place in my heart. My prayers go out to the Levy family.
