Aunt Marty never believed in saying goodbye, due to it's sound of finality. Whether it be during my visits back home, or even talking on the phone, it was never good-bye, rather she would close with 'So Short.'
Three thousand miles away is the worst place to be when it comes time to say Good bye. Five times now, and it never gets easier.
I love you, Aunt Marty.

Marty was a very special once-in-a-lifetime "lady". We started with our ball teams and ended on our bus trips to AC with her special bags of cookies. Marty, her mom and sisters hold a special place in my heart. She will always be remembered by me and my family. I just now found out she passed and am so sorry I didn't get to the funeral home to pay my respects to her family. I have wonderful memories of our past.

Ms. Marty was a very special lady. She would come to my partents house for holidays and celebrate with us. She really became part of our family. My son would go with my mother to her apartment to visit. She was a one of a kind. She loved to hear all the kids laughing and playing. Oh how the kids adored her.... She will truly be missed but never forgotten....
