Martha L. Vogt

Martha L. Vogt, 36, of 3 Oxbow Farm Road, died suddenly Friday, May 20, 2005 at the Elliott Hospital in Manchester.

She was born in Bennington, VT June 25, 1968, the daughter of James B. and Katharine (Erkkila) Leitz. She was a 1986 graduate of Oyster River High School in Durham and a 1990 graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY and had resided in Stratham for the past seven years coming from Manchester.

Mrs. Vogt met her husband, Andy, while in college, and was the mother of four. Her life was centered around her family, her children's activities in school and in the community. Family members include her husband of 13years, Andrew A. Vogt, their four children, William, James, Anna, and Henry, all of Stratham, her parents of Lee, her paternal grandmother, Maxine Leitz of York, ME, two brothers, Christopher Leitz of Melrose, MA and Steven Leitz of Durham, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at the Stratham Community Church, 6 Emery Lane, Stratham on Saturday, May 28 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Martha L.Vogt Memorial Foundation" through TD BankNorth, NA (formerly Bank of New Hampshire) 28 Portsmouth Avenue, Stratham, NH 03885. Arrangements are by the Stockbridge Funeral Home of Exeter.
