MARTHA WEDEMAN

Martha and Miles and I were friends in Damascus Syria.
Martha was one of several wonderful travel partners who
explored Syria from top to bottom in my little Polish Fiat which
was named Abu Taaji, Father of the Dent.
Martha was the best. Always laughing and seeing the fun in everything including some rather odd trip experiences.
Even odder hotels. Very local restaurants.
For the years beyond Syria we kept in touch and as visits
to DC I would stop and visit...

Dear Wedeman family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers and I offer my deepest condolences. Martha was one of the kindest people I have known throughout my career. She had a huge heart and a genuine kindness and concern for people. She always gave me great advice and constant support. She was a grand lady and I am lucky to have known her.
