Martha "Marti" Yarington

I was saddened to hear of Marti's passing. Please accept my sincere condolences to the family. My mother, Jean Rossi, absolutely adored her. If she was still with us, I know she would have paid her respects to the family, so I am writing this in her stead. I met Marti several times thru Fountain St church and also thru her spiritual sisters' group. I wasn't even in Marti's class and she still made a positive impact on my life! She was kind and encouraging and treated everyone as if they were loveable and capable. What a gift!

Marty was a very special person & teacher who always showed love and care to her students, our fondest memories remain of her visits to our daughter (her student) after she was hospitalized after being struck by a car! I am sure that she exemplified what a teacher could be, and was a great influence on our daughter becoming a teacher also!
