Not sure what to say?

Lor and I have been out of state and were so sorry to learn of Marti's passing while we were away. We knew Marti from Charis, and she was also the realtor who sold us our house. She was a wonderful person.

I called her Marta because she really preferred it. Did you know she and Sarah Bridges started the International Festival that has grown to be the huge festival in Tower Grove every summer. I remember it clearly. Marta supported me in business and life. We tried to help each other in our endeavors. I know I will see her again. My love and prayers to her family.

I shared Marti's love for photojournalism and her dream of a regional documentary publication, Side Streets. She was a sometimes student, friend and colleague. The world is reduced by her absence.

Marti took the energy and vision of one person (herself) and spread it to what seems to be thousands of people. While I miss her terribly, I still see her everywhere I go.

Lisa, Scott and Family:
I am so shocked very deeply saddened. I can't imagine what you are going through. My thoughts are prayers are with you and I'm here if need anything. Marti touched many lives in a short periord of time.

I met Marti through mutual friends. We often saw each others in some of the coffee shops in St. Louis. I enjoyed Marti's kind and sensitive advice at difficult times in my life. I will miss her. (Cara Mia). ... I first met Marti's mom Carol when I was Carol's nurse at Barnes Hospital long ago! (Carol was delightful... she gave me a wonderful poem about growing older and a pair of jade earrings as a thank you gift.) I LATER met Marti in the St. Louis community, also through mutual friends. ...

Marti was hosting the first open house we went to when we moved to St. Louis. She made such an impression on us and the city. She will truly be missed in the Tower Grove Neighborhood.

Dearest Frumhoff Family:
I worked with Marti, Mark, and Mr. Frumhoff at Realty Exchange. I truly am sorry for you lost. I truly enjoyed the entire family that I met. You have my deepest sympathy. Connie Jefferson

Dear Frumhoff Family: We are very sorry to hear of Marti's passing. We worked with Marv when purchasing our first home as well as the selling and purchasing of a new home for my mother (Maralynn Sparks) Marv always seemed to light up when he spoke of Marti and her passion for the business as well as for life. I am sorry that we did not meet her personally, but feel that her dad shared a part of her with us. She was truly a bright star. Always remember that when you look to the sky at night...
