Not sure what to say?

Still in our hearts. Think globally; act locally

I miss Marti especially at this time of year: all of her qualities shone at her memorable vegan Thanksgiving potlucks. She was a special friend who shared my values.

I met Marti in Montreal through a friend, when we were both at McGill University. She had two or three ocelots and I was completely entranced by her and her animals. Certainly a unique woman. Her family should be proud.

Why did I put a question mark after my comment(on May 11)? I know that Marti forgives me...she knew how computers were not my forte...Yes, I do miss Marti and her visits in Seattle very much...

Marti's deep love for all life will echo in eternity. Meeting her was a gift to my soul. Her contributions to the earth and all creatures are immeasurable.

Marti lives in my heart...I miss her and her visits in Seattle dearly. ?

Marti's voice has so often been the one helping me make ethical decisions for 32 years. It still is. A friend here in New Zealand had relied on her book for a recent paper. Her influence is world wide, and will continue.

Marti was my role model for my doctoral work at the Graduate Theological Union---once I connected my ecofeminism with animal advocacy and was wondering what the scholarly route was, there was Marti's new book, shining like a beacon for me. Her scholar/activist work continues to be an inspiration to me.

Marti was delightful. I met her in north Oakland. She had wonderful friends. She taught me how to fill christmas ornaments with paint!!!
much love & blessings to a wonderful human being.
