Not sure what to say?

To this day, I still find myself sharing witty/funny quips and wise pearls of knowledge I heard from Dr Berger over the ten years that I was his patient. I was a bit of a hypochondriac, and in my mind's eye can still see the smile and chuckle that he'd try to stifle every time I explained that I was "pretty sure" I had one disease or another. Then he'd listen, I mean REALLY listen. Dr Berger always took the time to explain and never talked down, even if he always ended up being right...

Dr Berger was one of a kind. He made you feel completely at ease no matter the ailment. The office is not the same without him. He brought a personal touch to the office that has sorriliy been lost since his passing. He was the best Dr that I ever had. He knew all my specialist Dr's by there first names and would pass verbal messages to them for me to deliver on my next visit with the other Dr's in regards to skiing or a recent event to make them laugh. Dr Berger truly put himself before all...

Martin is missed daily. April 1, 2018, what a shock, we actually thought what a cruel joke on April fools day.
Every time we go to see the Doctor, and pass by Martin's office, we can't help but think of Dr. Martin that last Friday office visit we had with him before he passed away. He was just his usual self, laughing, talking and being the best doctor ever. We are still in shock and hold him dear to our hearts. RIP you lovely, fun, thoughtful Person. So glad our paths crossed and...

We visited Robert Nadeau and his wife Glad this month in Ashville, NC. Terry and Bob told us ladies all the great stories of Marty, Terry and Bob and their high school escapades! It was our first time together since Marty passed and it was good to relive those days!

With loving remembrance,
Terry and Katherine Hermance

No matter how much time passes, when you have known such a caring person as Dr. Berger it will always leave a hole in your heart. He was my doctor since the 70's. I am now in my 70's and I will tell you this: doctors of today will never hold a candle to Dr. Berger. Today the medical community does not care. If they take two minutes for a visit it is the norm, if you get to see a doctor. Normally it's a PA.

Dr. Berger was kind, had an awesome sense of humor and conveyed clearly that he cared about his patients. No matter how I felt when I arrive in the office, I was smiling and or laughing by the time I left.

I have had many doctors in my lifetime but Dr. Martin has always been my favorite. He treated me as far back as the 70's. After I moved from Miami I tried to find him. A few months ago I tracked him to Orlando. Now I wanted to send him a message and I find he has passed. I am devastated. The only thing I can say now, is thank you for having taken good care of me and most of all for caring not only for me but all of your patients. May you be in a better place now.

I can't quite wrap my head around the fact that you are gone from this Earth. You were not just my physician, but my friend. You gave everything you had to us. People like you are rare. Love always, Jacqueline Day

Dr. Berger was my husband, Frank, family doctor for many years. He was my family doctor for a few years. Dr. Berger was an excellent doctor and knew how to diagnose serious health issues. Dr. Berger was very kind, thorough and humorous. We will miss him dearly. We cannot believe he passed away so suddenly. God bless Dr. Berger for all of his accomplishments. We will never forget him!
