I was privileged and honored to have gotten to know Martin and his family since the early 1990s. He was a man born with unique gifts and abilities. The news came as a shock. I have known Martin since 1974 and admired his career over the years. He was a driving force in so many ways and a guiding light, always upbeat and enthusiastic. I met Dr Brotman 30 years ago as a GI specialist. He always was there to help you. We became close friends. He was an Icon in my life. Dr Martin Brito was a man
of great dignity, honesty and total professionalism. Today Jan. 29-2021 I heard of his passing from my UCSF doctor. I was greatly saddened of his passing. My great sympathy goes to his wife Farron and his family.
