When carmen found us, I thought what a wonderful thing.

Then I met carmen and Marty at a party together with my grandmother and the rest of our family. We had the best time of our lives. It was a celebration.

When we met Marty, I was so happy. He was such a great guy. He was very funny and extremely intelligent. I learned how much he had helped so many people and organizations.

Carmen and Gene Campbell defined the term "Power Couple" . They showed us how the power of love, kindness and commitment to causes they believed could transform a community and provide better education for students. It began with the deep love and respect they had for each other and ignited everything they believed in and fought for.
