Not sure what to say?

Just had the chance to stop by "Marts" and talk to Johnny and his boys. It has been over 10 years since I have been back to Chicago, but my memories of meeting and being a friend with Mart and his family will always be a life high lite.
I thank God that He crossed our paths for some 13 years. He was a person that all should have had the pleasure to know. He is missed.

I left Chicago in 2003. I used to be a regular at Marty's 1st restaurant. I was invited to and attended his Sweet 16 party in 1997. In those years, the Randolph St area was just starting. Marty's place was always a place where I felt at home and Marty was always there to personally take me to my table when I came in for dinner. He was a true friend. With great sadness I learned tonight of Marty's passing after living in Europe for the past 11 years. His hospitality, friendship and great...

Marty worked for my father back in the sixties as a pizza delivery guy.I used to kid him that he stole my grandfathers recipe for pizza and meatballs. He was a great man and has a fantastic restaurant. My condoleences to his family.

Deepest condolences to the Campo Family. My family, friends and I always loved going to Mart Anthony's, not only for the great food, but also for the warmth and welcoming nature of its wonderful owner. Marty was a true Chicago gem, and a man who will be sorely missed.

My deepest condolences to the Campo family. Mart always welcomed my friends and family as FAMILY. My Dad and I always had a great time at Mart Anthony's. You will be deeply missed. Rest in Heaven my friend In the loving arms of our Lord.

My father CPD Anthony J. Ferro aka Tony or T.C. Loved Marty very much after many years of hanging out at the restaurant & with Marty My Dad bought a building behind Mart Anthony's. I think my dad stayed there morning noon & night.
My most memorable time I was with my dad there, is when dad threw me a Suprise 21st Bday Party with Only MY BEST FRIENDS at MartAnthony's!!!!
I sincerely offer My families Deepest Condolences to the Campos Family.

My deepest sympathy to the Campo family on the passing of "Mart". When I moved to Chicago Mart was one of the first people to welcome me to the neighborhood when I stopped in for lunch. That introduction turned into a quick, warm, personal friendship that my wife Di, my kids and all my friends who came to visit cherished. Any one I brought would always ask about Mart and his excellent food and hospitality whenever I spoke with them. I also met many of Mart's friends at the restaurant and...
