Dear Carroll Family
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I went to School with Erin, served Mass with Tim a few times and attended the Welcome retreat with Sean.
I got the opportunity of talking with your father and Erin at St. Jude's a few years back after Church and one evening a few summers ago at Imperial. I will keep your family in my prayers.

My condolences to the family of Mr. Carroll! Reading his obituary/legacy those of us who didn't have the pleasure of knowing him can tell that this was a remarkable man. I don't know all of his children, but if they are anything like their brother Tim, then this man raised some very incredible children. Home to your reward now Mr. Carroll, to the mansion that has been prepared for you.

Mr. and Mrs. Carroll were the embodiment of Irish hospitality and good cheer to the innumerable ragamuffin friends of their kids growing up, always offering visitors abundant food, drink, and fun at their pool. Mr. Carroll could bring the house to order quickly with a bellow, but preferred to smilingly watch the controlled chaos of his kids at play with others.
