Not sure what to say?

I was so sad when my sister Tammie called me w/ the news!! I had the privilege to work w/ Martin at the Rigdedale service center. He was also my trainer. He knew his job inside & out, and always kept the spirits up in the office. I loved to talk & laugh with him. I miss him lots.....he was one of my favorites to work with!!!! He will be deeply missed & knowing that I will see him again gives me comfort & I hope you all will find comfort in that as well. I will keep all is loved ones in...

I was deeply saddened by the news of Marty's tragic death. I'll always have many fond memories of our growing up together on the North side. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

I am still saddened at the loss of Martin. He had been my next door neighbor for the last 11 months. I pretty much saw him every day after he retired. He was always kind to me and my young children. He often reminded me to enjoy these early years with my kids as he would reflect how quickly his kids grew up. He loved Micheal and Meredith deeply.

I worked with Martin for many years. I knew how he loved to put people on. "Stir the pot" was one of his favorite sayings but deep down he was a big teddy bear. I knew Martin to be a very caring person. His kids meant everything to him. I will never forget him. My condolences to Meredith & Michael. He loved you both very much.

I had the privilege to have Martin share his knowledge with me as my trainer when I started at the Ridgedale Service Center in 1997. He was straight to the point and knew his job. His sense of humor, smile and kindness made him a person I could never forget. It is so sad that he had just begun to enjoy retirement and an accident took his life. It is so sureal, as I just saw a couple of weeks ago. My heart felt symapthies go to all who loved him. He is finally free and hopefully, his...

My sincere condolences to Michael and Meredith. I so enjoyed working with your father. His timing for humor was superb. He could keep a poker face and say the funniest things. The mark of a man is his capacity to love. Martin loved his family, life and deeply cared about others as he displayed at work by helping others. He knew the job well. The only rainbow in this is that Martin went on his final journey doing what he loved. His memory will not be forgotten.

I was privileged to have known such a fine person. I could always count on Marty for a warm smile and words of encouragement. My sincere condolences to Meredith, Michael, Peggy, Marsha, and all who suffer from his loss. Marty touched thousands of lives. Happy Trails, Marty.
