Marty was a just little boy when his dad Orion was pastor of Salem Lutheran Church in Philadelphia's Frankford section where my mother Evelyn Houck and I were members. For some reason I thought of him today when searching on Facebook. I was sorry to read that he recently passed. My sincere condolences. Salem, alas, is also only with us now in pleasant memories.

When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Hold onto your memories and let them guide you during this time of sadness. Marty was a very caring man who was always there to help others. He and Ralph were close friends in the car business. They can now enjoy each other’s company again in heaven prayers to you and your family.
