Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of Martin's passing. My strongest memory of him was the time I happened to run into him and his mother, my Aunt Helen, in downtown St Paul, and we had such a nice visit before Aunt Helen and I got on the Greyhound back to Duluth. My father, Dick, was always so fond of his cousin, Marty. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Peggy Burke

Dear Sandra, Kristin, and Gregory:
Please accept the condolences from myself and my family You have been in our prayers. Martin was my Godfather. I have such fond memories of him and his brothers and sister at Christmastime in Duluth. He would put cousin after cousin on his shoulders and walk around the house making us feel tall and important. He was so good to all the kids. He was a special man. May God's love and comfort be with you all.
Peace.

On behalf of the Burke family living here in northern California please accept our condolences on the passing of Martin. I still remember all of the wonderful get togethers at Aunt Helen's years ago and also what a wonderful person Martin was. Our prayers and thoughts are with you in your time of need.

I am so sorry to hear about Martin's passing. To the whole family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I became acquinted with Marty through our mutual employment with NCR Corporation. In my opinion, Marty personified the concept of a dignified, respected business and family man. He had a great rapore with all his colleagues, a wonderful sense of humor, and the esteem of his friends.

If I could have only one friend, I would wanted it to be Marten Erickson. It's a sad day for everyone that knew him.

Marty leaves a legacy that those of us who were blessed to be around him can only pray to achieve. He was a precious man who always made you feel special. God certainly smiled on all of us who crossed paths with this wonderful man. My prayers are with the family - may God be your strength during this difficult time.

I have known Mr. Erickson since I was 8 years old and have never seen him without a smile on his face. When I was young I always said I wanted to marry a man just like him - not only was he a wonderful father but he was easy to be around - and he cooked and cleaned. I hope to have a spaghetti dinner waiting for me when I see him next.
