Mr.Fine as i always called you even after my ten years with you!! You taught me so many things....mostly about life lessons as you were like a father to me. I remember all the times at your east hampton house...all those antiques.pool parties..You were an incredible person,,very generous .I want to thank you a million times for giving me the incredible chance to run the Blue Willow. From there all other doors opened for me. The loft that i lived in for the eight years that you let me stay in...

Please accept my sympathy on the loss of your uncle, Marty. I worked for Marty many years ago, selling lofts for him in New York. He was delightfully impossible. I know he will remain in the hearts of many who he helped along the way.

Dear Marsha & Jill,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your uncle, who I will always remember as my cousin Marty Fine. Although we hadn't seen each other in many years our families did share many happy times when we were young. Your grandmother Lilly Greenwald Fine and my mother Greta Klein Browne were first cousins. I even took both of you to the movies when you were young and visiting your grandparents in Brooklyn. So many years have gone by since I saw Marty last, but...

I knew Martin through his real estate dealings in East Hampton. We spent many hours searching East Hampton for investments. I got to know him as an astute appraiser of properties and whether he bought or not, he always let me know why he made the decision he made. I was involved in his only purchase and sale during the 1993-2005 period. Where we agreed to disagree was in the arena of politics. We learned very early in our relationship that it was better to keep away from the subject. I will...
