Hi Marty Jr,

It's been a very long time. We went to school together and CCD at St Thomas. I remember your Dad & Mom at church, at little league with my brother Jimmy. Your Dad was such a good family man and I'm sorry for your loss. How lucky are you and your family to have him for so long. I just want to send my condolences Marty to you and your family. You were always a special person growing up in Wilmington. Take care, Trudy Kennedy Sullivan

My deepest condolances to the Flaherty family. I remember spending a lot of time at the Flaherty house when I was younger and Mr. Flaherty always had a smile on his face and always made me laugh... thank you for leaving a wonderful lasting impression.

My deepest sympathy to the Flaherty family, Mr. Flaherty is in the thoughts and prayers of the Swanson family.

Non sibi sed patriae...thank you for your service Mr. Flaherty.

Friendly, fun and dedicated to family. A person who made others feel important and did so in a way that made you feel like you knew him longer than you actually did. May the memories of many good times Mr. Flaherty created carry you through this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I WORKED WITH MARTY AT THE POST OFFICE IN THE LATE 80S. HE WAS A GREAT GUY, A GENTLEMAN, AND ALWAYS SO PROUD OF HIS FAMILY. AND OF COURSE, HE WAS THE BEST SANTA CLAUS WE EVER HAD IN THE LOBBY. MY SYMPATHY TO ALL THE FAMILY.
