Not sure what to say?

Was surprised to read his obituary a couple of days ago! Am sorry for his wife and family. We met many years ago and became friends. The last time I saw them was in 2014 at a memorial for my (ex) wife. My sympathies to all the family.

It has taken me a while to wrap my head around the fact that Marty is gone. Dad was so incredibly thankful to have such a great friend for so many years. The two of them together were a comedy team. Marty understood my father perfectly and teased him like no other. I loved Marty for so many reasons but most of all for his heart. He was a true gentleman and is already so missed here on earth. RIP Marty All our love to you Marilyn, Jennifer & family

Dear Marilyn and Family, I met Marty in our German class at the Oasis and adored his sense of humor and kindness. I, too, recently lost my husband and so I do know the loneliness you and your family are experiencing; my heart is with you. Very sincerely, Catherine Skae

Marty was a good friend for the many years that we knew him. Our acquaintance was mainly through the Friends Book Store at the library. But we know that he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. May his memory be a blessing.

Marty was one of the kindest men I have ever know. Rest In Peace.
