Not sure what to say?

Marty, I miss you and will always remember you.

Marty:
-A joker: always trying to pull one over until he bust out laughing (I grin as I remember). When I told Dawn of his passing she burst into tears and with face buried in my chest she muffled "He always put candy into my pockets"... His prank on those trying to lose weight, secretly slipping fun-size candy bars into coat pockets for later discovery (always good for a chuckle). He also had lots of catch-phrases like "That's a fact, Jack!" Marty always made me feel good.

Another from the Class of '59. I was also a classmate at SMUHS. I remember Marty as a great athlete and student who was always upbeat. Sad to hear of his passing.

I was a classmate of Marty's at Santa Maria High School Class of 1959 and know his sister Carmen. My condolences to Marty's family. Marty was a kind, caring person, one I would refer to as a true "gentleman". The family can be proud of him. We will miss him. Mary Jane Diaz, Santa Maria, CA

You will be very missed by your grandson, Christopher and I. I am so glad that you accepted the Lord as your savior. We will see you again very soon in heaven!

Love, Colleen and Christopher

I'm sorry I can't be there for the memorial service. May God comfort you during this sad time.
