I was saddened today to hear about Mr. Gaffney's death. My family and I have some of the best and fondest childhood memories living next door to the Gaffneys on Mimosa. We send our thoughts and prayers to Mrs. Gaffney, Mary and Nan during this holiday season.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Gaffney's passing. I grew up with the Gaffney family on Mimosa. Mr. Gaffney always had a smile on his face, and was a sweet, sweet man. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone.

I remember Marty's dad, Mr. Gaffney, quite well. I always felt quite at ease around him, just like I did around my own dad. He would always make you feel like you were one of his own family. A very caring and helpful person, with a great sense of humor also! I will certainly miss him, as many others will.

Sorry to hear about Martin passing. He was a great neighorbor an a pleasure be around.

My grandfather was one of the most amazing men I ever knew. He was funny and always found ways to make me laugh when I was down. He will be missed dearly and will never be forgotten. I LOVE YOU Grandpa.

I was fortunate to work with Martin at Oshman's Sporting Goods in Meyerland Plaza over twenty five years ago. He was a wonderful professional and an excellent mentor. I continue to use the people skills in my career today that he taught me when I was an impressionable teenager. He had a great way with everyone and always had a smile and a firm handshake.
