Not sure what to say?

Marty was a good man. Our friendship with him goes back 40+ years when we bowled with he and his wife, Bonnie, in the Knights of Columbus League. Marty had a great sense of humor. He was a friend to many and a man of honor. He lived a Christian life that was an example to all of us.

Our sympathy and a message that many warm & heartfelt thoughts are there with you today and always.

Hietpas family. So sorry to hear the news of Marty Sr's passing. He and his partner in life are now partners in heaven. Marty was a special man and will be missed by many. Marty Jr. and Beth, my prayers are with you and the family.

My sympathy goes out to the family. My memory of Marty is that he was always an upbeat guy , so physically fit, and athletic. Sorry that we are unable to make it up there for the service but our thoughts and prayers will be with you all. From his nephew Jack Luhrs

so sorry for you r loss he was a good man and neighbor

To the family of Mr. Martin J. Hietpas Sr. I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Hietpas was blessed with 94 years of special mightiness. (Psalms 90:10) May your hearts be filled with joyful memories of time spent with him as you remember a life well lived. May the Hearer of Prayer bring you strength and peace in your time of sorrow.

My Dad (Cornelius Ebben) and mother (Carolyne) often spoke kindly of Marty and Bonnie and how much they enjoyed their visits back to Wisconsin.
Your family will be in my prayers during this time of loss.
Judy (Ebben) Ver Voort

My dear Marty, I was so stunned when Father told us you had died. I cried through Mass, remembering all the times I saw you sitting in your seat and I'd come over and plant a big kiss on you. Either you or I'd say, "how ya doin' kid" and we'd say either, "pretty good" or "cum se, cum sa". But I know when I walked away, we both felt better ;) When Peggy told some people about you and "Mom" going home, I thought that was the most beautiful thing anyone could say. I'm happy you are home with...

So sorry for your loss. Marty and Bonnie were friends with my dad Glenn and Nadine Lane. I will always remember Marty's love of laughter and the joy he brought to our household. Mom and Dad were married at St. Henry's and it is likely that is where they met Marty and Bonnie.
