Not sure what to say?

To the family with deepest sympathy. May God comfort the family and the support of family and friends help during time of support.

My sympathy goes out to the family, during time of grief.

May the God of all comfort and a promised hope, be with the family and friends at this very sad and difficult time.

You will be missed. ,You will be missed. ,You will be missed. ,You will be missed.

Mary Ellen.

I'm remembering you in my prayers and your family too.

Marty was special to all who knew him. My deepest sympathy to Holly and his entire family.

While Marty was with us. He had a few constants...humor, struggles, faith and friendship. May we his family and friends remember his humor and faith. Try to make our lives better by overcoming struggles. The one comment I heard from many was that Marty kept in contact...via cards and facebook. I hope to learn from his example and reconnect with friends old and/or new. A kind word or deed can make a difference. Thank You... Holly for easing his last months.

Though I hadn't had the pleasure of meeting him in person, I knew Martin through the Xavier Alumni Association and through his active and always optimistic activity on Facebook. I could tell he was the kind of person who loved to make people smile. Martin, know that your Xavier friends will miss you and your contagious smile! Your family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers!

I was lucky enough to meet Marty here in Charlotte when we worked for the TSA after 9/11. My husband and I had such fun with him and Ioved all the laughing talking and problem solving we did .Staying in touch all these years - Always a birthday card, a Christmas wish and sadly not enough time. Marty - you are a true gem and I all miss you!!! God Speed My friend!
