Not sure what to say?

We remember this month Marty Kaplan who was a Founder and Board member of Sentinels of Freedom and as a result of his leadership Sentinels of Freedom has now served over 2500 wounded, injured, and other veterans attending higher education. Marty's compassion and business savvy helped make this all possible.

My prayers go out to Marcia and family. I worked as Marty’s secretary for at least five years. He was a kind and generous boss. I observed first hand his intellect, passion and patience. A very special man indeed. RIP dear friend

I'm sorry to hear about his passing. He was a truly memorable person. My thoughts and prayer to his family.

I'M SORRY TO HEAR THE PASSING OF THIS GREAT MAN, MR MARTY KAPLAN, A VERY CORDIAL AND PERSONABLE MAN, JUST A VERY NICE PERSON. LIFTING THE FAMILY UP IN PRAYERS. R.I.P MR KAPLAN.

I mourn the loss of this great human being. Mr.Kaplan was a inspiration to me and many others. I was impressed with his ability to remember names and faces of employees he had met before. He sought me out to see if I needed his assistance or how could he help me. I think he was a great leader and a better human being. Rest in Eternity my friend

Marty was a great guy and a great leader. I worked for him several times in my PacBell career. He was a great supporter and was instrumental in helping me move up the line. I owe much of the life I enjoy today to him. Rest In Peace boss.

Sincerest condolences to Mr. Kaplan's family and friends. He was truly one of our last great leaders at Pacific Bell.

I worked with Marty for many years at PAC Tel/PAC Bell. He had amazing knowledge of the business and personally developed many of the members of the companies Leadership Team during the 70's-80's. He had a great sense of humor and always made himself available if needed.

I worked for Marty at Pacific Bell in the 90's. He was a consummate leader, and also a kind and caring person. He remembered everyones' birthdays and always had words of encouragement and praise for his team. It is very sad to hear of his sudden passing. Rest in peace, Marty.
