KOCH, Martin H. - Of Flint, age 82, died Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Friday, June 6, 2003 at Grace Lutheran Church, 2525 Corunna Road in Flint, Pastor Walter J. Oelhafen officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of one's choice. Visitation 2- 8PM Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Martin will be at the church from 10AM until the time of the service on Friday. Martin was born in Germany on April 17, 1921 and was a resident of Flint since 1926. He married Kathy Weeks on November 14, 1987. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Martin served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an avid bowler and was employed at numerous bowling alleys in the Flint area. Surviving are wife, Kathy; son, Travis and wife Carrie Weeks of Flushing; grandson, David Fishback of Lansing, Michigan and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Iva; 2 sisters, Martha Bendall and Tillie Gossett; daughter, Deloris Fishback and grandson, Ronald Fishback.
