Martin Lokai Obituary
Martin Peter Lokai, age 100, passed away on November 11, 2025 in Troy, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 16th from 2:00 PM until 6PM at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on November 17th at 10:00 AM in Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fairborn, Ohio. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Lokai was my family´s landlord of the house on Palmer Rd in Bethel Twp for like 20yrs, then my parents moved to a family home Brandt. My brother, Roger and his wife Jackie continued to rent and live there for many more years. Most all of my childhood and youth memories were made there. My first daughter was born while living there with my parents (Bob & Lucretia Dilts. I remember so many great times while making some of the best memories in my life. Mr. Lokai was always there to check on the house and whatever problems we may of had. So prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable about everything! He always said how appreciative he was about having us live in and rent from him. We always took very good care of the property and such, always prompt and on time with the rent payment each month! To the Lokai family, I am so sorry for your loss. If there is ever anything you need and I can assist with, please reach out to me! God bless your family and I hope you´re able to find a good way to grieve his loss. Mr. Lokai was an awesome man who doted on his family, Loved by so many and was always respected by everyone! May he RIP up in the heavens above and be forever loved by ALL who knew and respected him!

My best memory of Uncle Martin comes from a childhood visit that my sister Amy and I made to the farm. I remember trailing after Dad and Uncle Martin as Uncle Martin showed him updates to the farm. Uncle Martin loved that farm and his family deeply. The pictures are not in the best of shape, but they're from grandma's house and Uncle Martin's farm.
